Registration for CLE programs
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for judges, judicial law clerks, law professors, law students, attorneys 65 or older, law librarians, attorneys who work for nonprofit organizations or legal services organizations, unemployed attorneys and attorneys in private practice who seek to learn skills that will assist them in pro bono activities or are in need. Complete the online application to apply for assistance.
Qualifying attorneys will be notified by email if their application is approved and will receive scholarships of at least:
- Live In-person programs – 30% tuition reduction. No reimbursement for other out of pocket expenses (travel etc.).
- Webcast programs – 30% tuition reduction.
- On-demand (recorded programs) – 50% tuition reduction.
A limited number of larger scholarships (including full scholarships) may be available for select programs. Preference will be given to attorneys who seek to learn skills used for pro bono activities and those with financial hardship. Attorneys licensed for five years or less, or who are full-time employees of federal, state, or local governments automatically qualify for a tuition reduction of 20% with no application required. Webcasts

The day before the event:
- Log in at my.ali-cle.org to access your account, using your email address and password.
- Click on the appropriate link next to the program title, then follow the instructions to access the study materials and webcast instructions. We strongly suggest that you download the materials before the program.
- If you are a primary contact for a group viewing the program using one device at one location, distribute a copy of the course materials to each registrant. Print out the Group Sign-In/Sign-Out Sheet to monitor attendance on the program day, following the instructions provided.

The day of the event:
- Log in at my.ali-cle.org at least 15 minutes before (and as early as 30 minutes before) the program start time, using your e-mail address and password.
- Click on the CLE Center tab, then click on Start This Course and follow the instructions for taking the course.
- You will be asked to select a state(s) to receive CLE credit in. If your state is not listed or you are not taking the course for credit, please select the General Attendance box at the top of the list

If there’s no video or audio:
- Wait for one minute. Your computer can take up to a minute to begin playing.
- Check and confirm that you meet the technical specifications below:
- Before viewing the webcast, close your VPN or Citrix connections and use your own wifi or ethernet connection.
- Webcasts should be viewed on a desktop, laptop, or iPad/notebook. They are not compatible with viewing on a smartphone.
- ALI CLE webcasts are supported on Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Edge browsers. Please do not use Internet Explorer to view this program.
- Required dedicated bandwidth for webcasts is 500+Kbps. Contact your Network Administrator to confirm the bandwidth available.
- If your screen freezes, restart your computer and log back in.
- ALI CLE Customer Service is available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern.

- When the webcast ends, click the “Collect CLE” link. If you log out of the course before clicking this link, log back in at my.ali-cle.org and click the CLE Center tab at the top of the page, then click on the Collect CLE link next to the program title to access your evaluation survey.
- Submit your evaluation, then download and print your attendance certificate(s) and view the MCLE information for the state(s) you requested.
- After the day of the program, you may return to the CLE Center at any time and click the View completed course information link next to the program title to access your attendance certificate(s) and the MCLE information for the states you requested.
In-Person Courses
Registration at an ALI CLE in‑person program or its accompanying full live includes complete course materials and CLE credit for sessions attended.
All ALI CLE in‑person courses are also available by live streaming webcast for those who prefer to attend the program remotely. Indeed, ALI CLE has provided our in‑person courses in a hybrid format for many years, so we have the expertise to bring you our national programming in a high‑quality format that best suits your interests and needs.
On‑Demand Programs and Materials
On‑demand programs and program materials for most webcasts are available for purchase 5 to 10 business days after the live presentation, longer for multi‑day programs and multi‑day webcasts. Purchase of an on‑demand program and/or materials includes online access for 12 months from the date of purchase.
LawPass Subscribers who select an on‑demand program and/or materials have online access for up to 12 months from the date of selection or until their subscription expires, whichever is sooner.

LawPass
The LawPass Standard subscription gives you unlimited access to scores of new webcasts, plus our entire library of hundreds of on‑demand courses. The LawPass Premium subscription includes all that content PLUS unlimited in‑person attendance at our full‑day or multi‑day conferences and unlimited access to live video webcasts of those conferences.
- Go to the LawPass webpage, review the checklist, and determine which plan (Standard or Premium) you’d like to purchase. At the bottom of the checklist under the appropriate column, click on “Subscribe Now.” You will be prompted to Create an Account if you don’t already have one.
- Once you create an account and are logged in, you can start registering for programs.
- From the ALI CLE home page, go to the CLE tab in the upper-left corner and select BROWSE PROGRAMS to search for upcoming or past programs.
- On the BROWSE PROGRAMS page, you can narrow your search by specifying whether you want an upcoming course or an on-demand course; or by entering a search term (“real estate”, “time management,” “employment,” etc.); or by using the drop down box to find a particular subject area.
- If you see a program you like, click on the box next to it that says FREE. The program will be added to your cart. When you are ready, go to your cart and click CHECKOUT.
- After you check out, you will receive a notification email and then another, which will confirm your registration and give instructions for taking the course.
- After you check out per above, the courses you added will be in your My ALI CLE account. To access your My ALI CLE account, go to your name at the upper-right corner of the ALI CLE home page. Click and select My ALI CLE.
- You will be taken to a page that welcomes you. On the left hand side, click on Go to My ALI CLE.
- You will be taken to your My ALI CLE account, where your registered courses are stored. Look under the Digital Content Library and/or the CLE Center tabs for your registered courses.
